Larry D. Halstead serves as a consultant on a wide range of issues in business, non-profit organizations, politics and economic development.

Larry and his wife Michelle, created the Earth Have Foundation of Kids which deals with children who are born addicted to drugs. This foundation is dedicated to creating more loving adopted homes for these children and providing for their special needs. Larry and Michelle have together adopted a total of eight of these children and support their family and this foundation through his consulting work.
Halstead received an Associates of Arts Degree from San Bernardino Valley College and after a double major is Political Science, he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UC Davis in 1976.
Starting as an intern and continuing after graduation, he served as a lobbyist in Sacramento on issues involving alternative health and patients rights.
Mr. Halstead’s professional back ground is mainly as the Founder and CEO of several businesses relating to publishing, graphic arts, health products, international marketing. environment, alternative energy.
Mr. Halstead has a life-long involvement with World Life Research Institute, a non-profit organization founded by his father Bruce W. Halstead, M.D. in 1958. It is an international reference center on alternative medicine, the environment, bio-toxicology, marine biology, drugs from the sea, and ethno botanical medicine.
Dr. Halstead passed away in 2005 leaving a void that only he could fill. However, ideas are being explored on how best to move WLRI into the forefront on the environmental, alternative medicine, and other issues on which WLRI was founded.
